I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Blade 400
Did you not bother to clean the main shaft??! ha haaaa!
Sounds good though I quite like the look of these little "250" sized CCPM helis for indoors. More money though, and I need to be saving now, not spending! I'm looking forward to seeing you throw this Blade badboy around with vengeance!
Cheers
Andy

Re: Blade 400
Lol i got it from Overlander, thought it may just anoy me but in fairnes its pukka, all pre cut fits like a glove (once you remove the incerts ofcourse) thers even a cut out for a TX if you want that in there aswell,
Just need my man to airbrush it up all nice like
The canopy i got off Ebay and im well made up with that 2 won the auction for 0.01p with 5.99 postage so £6 posted from china, the plane white ones over here are +£20, I wasnt really expecting much but now its here its spot on nice thick glass molding and a cracking paint job will look loverly buried in out feild when i start to throw it round

Re: Blade 400
I'm a big fan of flight cases, their main purpose Chez Moi, is protecting ones fragile things from clumsy Andy Syndrome. Something that is affecting rather a lot of fragile things (and some not so fragile!) in our house recently....
I don't suppose Overlander do them for Trex500 sized choppers do they? I might be tempted if so
Regarding the canopy, then one of the best tips I have had for heli canopies, is to paint each side a wildly different colour (Or a pattern/design based on different colours for each side). That way you can clearly identify each side of the heli without having to think about it, regardless of the orientation of the chopper. I tried it on my Piccolo about 5 years ago, and it worked surprisingly well. I'm also told it helps to have different colours top and bottom, for when you are starting to play with 3D flight, for exactly the same reasons....
Just think, some poor Chinese lad probably on got paid a bowl of rice for painting that Canopy.....
Cheers

Re: Blade 400
Hi Mark
Nice looking canopy;
couple of question please;
The canopy you got, does it fit over the overlander battery OK, as they are slightly larger than the original battery ? if so can you please send me the link to where you got the canopy from.
Many thanks
Zaidy

Re: Blade 400
Well the Hughes kit was partly assembled and I didn't like that, so I asked the seller to revert the heli back to what is was then I can sort it out over the winter months !! (SO ME THINK )
I will see what the family are planning tonight first then I will give you a bell later if thats ok..
Cheers
Zaidy
