I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I'll be going up there tomorrow but I have no room as I use my mums shopping trolley (corsa) to go flying so I don't get my car muddy.(She hates me for this)
Is you're grandad not available?

I meant on the buddy lol
My dad is taking me if someone can take me up on the buddy lead (fingers crossed some one will as I haven't flown properly in over 3 weeks!) otherwise there will be no point in me going

Sam I'm the wrong mode or I should say you are, and I also fly superior Futaba gear so cannot buddy with your JR/Spektrum gear, so I cannot help you but I'm sure there will be some others there to help

I'm hoping to nip out for a few flights tomorrow, probably with the chucky glider to keep me warm! Not sure when, and for how long yet though...

Oh well
you see unless I can CONFIRM that I will have someone to take me up, my parents wont take me.
Anyway I went to Abafraw dunes to try some slope soaring, it was really naf no lift at all even with 20mph winds.
So I got out the breeze when the winds had gone down to 13 and WOW I was AMAZED!!!
Great flyer, loops, rolls, inverted, knife edge, stall turns and climbing vertical (this is a nose heavy trainer!!!) at 3/4 throttle on a 15c 3s li-po, I want a 40C!!!!!!!
Then we went to visit my nain (who has broken her back) and She gave me a tin of yummy bicys and £10!!!!
Couldnt of gone better and I made my nain fell happy!

Glad you had a good day mate, sorry to hear about your nan,I have back problems so I know how bad it can get.
If you can get to the field and you aren't sure if anyone can buddy you if you can bring your heli I can stand with you when you fly.
I'm not the best person in the world but I know the basics as I was taught by the ultimate jedi (Dave) and the nutty proffesor (Zaidy).

[color=blue]Well what a fantastic day. I counted 8 cars on the field with one just outside the gate and two outside in the lay bye
Everything that you could want in a day at the field, great weather and great companny.
We set up Zaids new flkybarless head on the 700 LE and it was a fairly painless process. It flies well and looks very clean without the flybar and washout mixer. I maidened my 700 nitro and have to say that I am in love. The whole expierience of a 90 size helicopter is awsome. They seem to sit better and in the hover are stable. Everything is done with less fuss than the smaller models . I flew my 600 nitro after the 700 and it felt like buzz box, noisy and twitchy. The only downside is that I burnt around 1/2 gallon of fuel in the 700.
John Bow was busy with the camera so I feel a few pictures coming on. The other downside was that Allan could not find an examiner to try his A test. Guess they all stayed home.
