I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Waaa Im CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so I have THIS motor with THIS esc, im also using a 1000mah 3s li-po with a 3x3.8 apc E prop
Now on the RCME forum, some people are saying it will work ok, but my esc will get quite warm, some say I will get the magical white smoke from my esc, and others say it will burst into flames taking everything with it.
Soo I need someone to help me out with this spark side stuff as IC makes much more sense to me! and I dont want to damage anything just by making the wrong decision.

Thanks

Re: Waaa Im CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!
Sam,
With electric flight you really need a watt meter to see whats going on, the specs of the motor and esc look fine for your proposed set up ( i would proberbly use a higher rated esc though to give a buffer) but without knowing exactly what its doing its dificult to sugest anything, a warm esc isnt to much of a propblem but a hot one is, (have you got adiquit cooling for the esc) static bench testing will always make things warmer im my experiance as the prop isnt unloading like it would in the air
