I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Feb 4th?
Gary I'm pretty sure that it's planned for Hobby Corner to attend the March clubnight, I'm sure one of the committee will confirm this shortly

Thanks Rich.Rich wrote:I'm sure if you ask they wil provide for you maybe not on the same scale as last time though
In a roundabout way I was fishing to see if the club were covering free nosh again. Last month was a great gesture from the club to the members and well received.
Any car parking entertainement this time ?

Re: Feb 4th?
Paul we've had the Zamboni machine working the streets of Rhuddlan over the weekend but on early morning inspection today the under street cooling system seems to have a problem so the car parking entertainment for Thursday may have to be cancelled
Re: Feb 4th?
Oh you mean one of these
Who would have ever thought they have one here in Rhuddlan.
Last time I saw one was at Manchester Ice Palace in 195?. We all had to clear off the floor whilst they refreshed the Ice for the Ice Dancing session. The man at the Hammond organ played the music with gloves and warm boots on. He usually read a library book whilst playing.

Re: Feb 4th?
Yes sadly unless the under floor cooling can be re-envigerated by Thursday it looks like the Lexus curling event and the Galaxy downhill race will have to be cancelled. I believe the shuv ha'penny will go ahead as planned
Re: Feb 4th?
We could always give Tim's rear tyres a few wraps of insulation tape whilst he is not looking. That should reduce the traction by enough to result in some comedy
The club aren't providing freebie food on Thursday, but I'll check to see if there is any chance of some sandwiches or something If enough people are interested in the food aspect, then I am sure we can make it a monthly thing, but we would have to ask for some cash to cover the costs (it's only about £4-5 a head if I recall correctly).
Cheers
Andy

Hi Folks,
Bring your thinking caps with you on Thursday, for we have got a bit of a quiz organised (Thanks to Pete Slater!) and we should also have soem sandwiches being laid on too. Not sure on the cost yet, but it won't be much
Cheers

Why not hold a raffle with a small prize and the rest to pay for the grub.
