I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

The orange peel, whilst originally unintentional, was actually to aid grip of the transmitter when discus launching. It worked surprisingly well!
The new tx is a bit heavier, so it will be interesting to see how it handles when DLGing. The functions it has are simply amazing though. No fancy battery sapping colour screen, but plenty of useful functions, including full telemetry support with voice outputs. Very nice
As for the looks, then an old adage my grandad taught me: You don't look at the mantlepiece whilst you poke the fire do you?

should have got a better Radio like the new Fresky TX does all that and more + cheaper

But it doesn't work with all teh Jeti receivers that I have, and the Frsky radios don't have any PPM output receivers. Plus can you play chess on the Frsky radio? Nope, didn't think so

can if you screw that Yeti tx to it + you can buy around 2.5 Fresky rx's for the price of a yeti rx all with full telemetry
