I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Ben...once you've been in this game as long as some of us have, you get philosophical about such things - as my old instructor said many years ago...

What killed my PC9
Shan't bore you all with the long version ( its over on RCME forum if you want that ) but after extensive analysis, the culprit has been found. A main power supply lead / gold connector joint joint failed on the data logger to ESC input, ( lucky in some ways it was on-board the model - maybe unlucky in other ways ) causing an immediate and total loss of everything 24 seconds into flight, as the separate heavy duty UBEC was powered by the same main battery.

Flew so nice I just had to get another, and she's all ready to go.
Hope the weather plays ball, oh, and that she lasts longer than the first
