I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Horrid accident for anyone to have, She must have been scarred for life. I wonder did they get taken to task and pay up?
Here, the BMFA have to advise "Do not admit liability".
Any modellers using a public place or park MUST have permission to operate their models there. If not, third part accident insurance is not valid. You'r on your own.

I read on the RCME forum that an elderly person has been killed in the last week or so at a model show when a 2 metre model struck him in the chest. Inquiry is underway.

Whilst it is never nice to see accidents happening, they are just that, accidents. You can do your utmost to try and prevent them, but it would be foolish to expect them to be eliminated completely.
