I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

SCRCS Flyin - Middlewich 9.9.12
Today saw my annual trip over to the South Cheshire Remote Control Society (SCRCS) field just outside Middlewich.
The event normally held in June got postponed until today due to bad weather and judging by my sunburn it was a good choice.
Ive said it many times on here but boy what a great little club this is, huge turn out with 20 odd Invited flyers and easily double that in club members and family's either flying, speculating, cooking or selling raffle tickets and cake!
As is the norm I filmed lots of pretty flights and flew a few times myself although as is the norm I flew like a bit of a girl.
This year as a treat the club organised a local Gyrocopter pilot to drop in and put on a display, I missed the morning flight but managed to film his departing sortie (you will see from the vid the Gyro copter lives in the next filed!
If that was pretty good the next trick they had up there sleeve was even better. One of the SCRCS committee works at Manchester air traffic control, and he rather sneakily asked his collegues to divert the Vulcan XH588 2 miles west on its flight plan to and from the Southport Airshow so we got 2 fly pasts!
Top job from all involved, some vids to follow later
