I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: 3DRC Aerobatic Flyin
if you go to Prestatyn, you can step out of your car virtually straight onto the Beach.Car parking Gestapo patrol so be careful.Ill look at tides and post times
High tide is approx 14;30 .So morning would be ok untill 13;00 then afternoon after 16;00 The sea comes right up to the car park. There is a large field on the other side of the road to the Crasy Golf where Kites are flown. This is on the way to the Beach.

Re: 3DRC Aerobatic Flyin
Few words about Delyn...
Far away ...
Windy like .. erm... like a very windy place ...
Cold - after few minutes had to dress up - managed to freeze up a bit slower - but still...
So be sure that I will be there next time - cause it was nothing compared to excellent atmosphere.
People were great, flying was amazing and barbeque ... mmmm.
I have some pictures - will upload them later.
See you again chaps

Re: 3DRC Aerobatic Flyin
Indeed, I had a ratehr good day, despite the bitingly cold wind! I think you had the right idea stayingin your car Dave/John! Still, got a few flights in on the Boomerang, and the paraffin heater on the back was most welcome to warm my hands up after each flight!
Bizarrely, the group session with my little DLG was the most entertaining!
Andy (who is wondering if DLG's really fall under the remit of 3DRC, and also whether it is fair to say that Barnesy's planes are never more than few mm of destruction?)
