I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Saturday 8th September
I had about thirty flights, going on Mark's math, only managed three during the day but flattened 10 packs in my RC factory Yak as dusk fell & mist started to rise. Talked a few good flights as well.

Bloody Marty's fault I didnt get there - he promised us 12MPH westerlies on the Orme, and it was almost flat calm when we arrived, so made the most of it :-(

Re: Saturday 8th September
Many thanks to all the guys who gave me some guidance (which i needed!!).
Special thanks to Mr Barnes for taking time out ..trying to explain the difference between left and right to me!!
Got three brief flights in ,Mark took off and landed whilst i did circuits (roughly speaking)...the trainer is a pain in the backside for climbing!
Ithink i remember one slightly "dodgy" moment approaching the trees and mark had to grab the transmitter from my hands!
I really enjoyed the whole thing
Cheers guys!
Owen.

Finally got my Ultimate back in the air yesterday after more than twelve months lay off, first flight was a little sweaty palm job but subsequent flights were ok. Neil was asking questions about how big the full size is, well as they say a photos worth a thousand words.

Yep, picture does say a thousand words....... Bet thats just like wearing a plane suit, If ya know what I mean.
Had a good day even though I destroyed My Hacker, and after seeing tom fly I've got a few more hours to put in LOL.

Cheers Rich, the main thing is enjoying it, It's lucky that I like building/re-building as-well.. It's just been a shame that summer hasn't had alot more days like Sat.
