Pete I'm sure one of the more electrically switched on guys will be along shortly to give you a better answer than I but one of the first questions they'll ask is what is the largest pack of lipos you'll be wanting to charge ie 2 3 4 5 or 6S. Unless you're planning on getting into electrics in a big way you shouldn't need to spend a fortune Wink

The GT Power A6 (up to 6 lipos) is a good charger, I use the GT Power 8 (up to 8 lipos) never had a problem yet I think HobbyKing do them as well as lots of UK distributors.

As Brian has already eluded to, the Electricary guru's will point you in the right direction.

As Bri says its worth looking at getting the best you can afford to give you room to move up in pack size

I use these two types mostly

Up to 6s 50w
http://www.overlander.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2806&category_id=106&keyword=charger&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=0

Up to 8s 200w
http://www.overlander.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2995&category_id=106&keyword=charger&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=0

For multiple pack charging i like the look of this but its over a 100 quid

First 2 are cracking chargers, that you may find branded under a differant name and a few quid cheeper

Cant see me using bigger lipos than 6s, the 50w overlander looks ideal as it discharges as well

Thank you for your help
