I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: How Much!
If I really got excited, three grand would be the lower estimate I suppose with fuel, batteries, servos, receivers, travelling to IMAC events, repairs/engines for Yak etc.
I spent the best part of £1000 on the future as well "FUTABA FASST" receivers.

Re: How Much!
I didn't spend much this year for my new toys - but in ratio spent money to time I'd played with'em it's well over 50quid /hour...

If it is a hobby you cannot look at it just from a financial point of view otherwise it seems to spoil the enjoyment of it. The cost could make you feel guilty.
On the other hand it's nice to be able to brag now and again.

Re: How Much!
Oh dear,as it was my first year I needed more than normal for Tx and recievers.
600 NSP around £1400.
450 pro around £400.
Lepton around £1300.
and the christmas build 600 LE so far up to £1000.
Batts and charger about £1000.
last week I found my first fixed wing which was a bargain at £146.
This next year it should be less, maybe just one more heli,or 2.
Danny.
