I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

A new Heli is born
Just a quick update, Xmas came early for me this year as I might be away this Xmas, Santa, bought me a T-Rex 700, Which I have been assembling over the week, as the weather been really bad.
Well, Dave dropped by this afternoon and gave it the once over (thanks for setting that throttle servo), All was well apart from minor pitch adjusment.
Then it was time to fuel her up and have a test hover in the back garden, well the garden looked even smaller than usual
Spooled her up and few clicks on the rudder trim to the right and up she went, although I didn't think she will take off as the engine sounded so different and quiet. WOW they have some power the Hyper 91 H
All I need is a spell of good weather to have a good play..
See you soon

Re: A new Heli is born
Thanks for that Tim, but I am a bit worried now, I just read something about an incedent with the blades in the USA. Have a look at the link..

Zaide have a look here.
http://www.helifreak.com/forumdisplay.php?f=112
This is the 700 section from helifreak and there is lots of discutions about this.
Apparently the only 2 issues with it is the links can pop causing the reported blade destroying the heli and in one of those topics there is links(ignore the punn) to link sets that sort it out if you are worried.
The other problem which is less common is an issue with the clutch and the quick uk upgrade is worth a look but I think these are only issues for people chucking them about but the links are worth a look just to be extra safe.
I've sorted your car out as well,it seems fine now so I'll bring it with me when I next see you.Hopefully tomorrow if it's nice.

I've used readiheli lots and they are really good to deal with,a bit like an american fast lad performance.

Re: A new Heli is born
Hi Danny
Thanks for sorting the Car out..
I did pick up a set of quick UK ball links and links, the other day, but I was not intending on changing them yet, its almost like rebuilding the thing from the start. Like you said, for the flying I do, its not required just yet
Regards
Zaidy
