I found these and had to try one.
Perfect regulators. Reg002
Perfect regulators. Reg001
I just don't like the deans connectors on those tiny wires on the Align regulator.
These are called Perfect regulators from the states and Fast Lad have just started bringing them into the country.
The one I'm trying is designed for the AR7100 receiver and comes in a 6 volt version and a 6.5 volt version.
It comes with deans already soldered on and it is tiny compared to the align one.
I'm also going to try one of these from the same company.

This way you still have the push button glow and is also available in push button version or a switchable channel version if you have a spare channel.
Can't wait to try it.
Danny.
