I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Looks a sturdy well made piece of kit, I see it uses the well renowned RC Exel ignition too. Great price.

It looks good in the flesh too! I'm still not sure of all the bits hanging off the sides though, I'm certain they can be trimmed back a bit to save some weight. Leigh tells me you can't get rid of the choke though, apparently it doesnt work without it....

One point of note though if anyone is considering getting one, it dosnt come wth standofffs, not a major issue but for the pirce its worth adding them to the order from hobby city

Will hopfully have it mounted to the Red tug to give it a test this weekend

It probably wasn't part of the Rover MG requirements list when designing the car. The item "can fit a 2m single peice Tug Wing in the boot" was crossed off, as it would have clashed with the "must have a tartan rug holder for the rear parcel shelf".....

How very Rude!!

Well its now has 1/4 of a gallon through it and its running well, Finaly got it to the feild yesterday and fired up for a proper run, I couldnt be happier really its a doddle to start and pulls well, we did however forget the tacho so and tell what its doing but it feels strong

The most serprising thing was the throttle response very strong and true, looks like it could be bargin of the year, even got a complement from my Dad so it must be farliy good,

Didnt get it in the air due to Hurricane "pain in the ass" blowing across the feild yesterday but dependant on bus times (so i can get it there) it should fly this week

Andy has some vid of it running so should be up in about a year or so

Tsk tsk, some of have proper jobs to do you know! It will be posted in due course. Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow. Who knows!

It did sound very "enginey" yesterday, which is a good thing (so I'm told)... Laughing

I'm not sure about the Hurricane force wind though. I mean, it was gentle enough for Leigh to fly that little creation of his. I reckon you are going soft in your old age. Admittedly, the only landing Leigh managed to get on the strip, nay the entire field, was techincally a crash!

The weather forecast for Thursday is looking good, well, in terms of wind at least. Let's hope the rain doesn't materialise, and I can get the Tug I have been looking forward to for soooooo long!
