I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Saturday 23rd May
Aye, it was going great until someone pinched the fire out of the engine! I'll put money on who will be practicing auto rotations on the sim this week now
I proved the strength of the Komet, by attempting a fully laden self launch. It doesn't work it seems! Still, just a broken prop to contend with I also had a couple of flights with my big yella glider, which has had a nice winter break. I'm really looking forward to balmy summer evenings with that thing! I wish I had stayed at the field later now though, I;ve just got back from another biking session (two in one day!) and it was great! Hardly any wind, loads of bouncy clouds about, perfect for gliding....
Oh, and if anyone picks up a small, black and red handled, ball-ended allen wrench from the pits area, can you let me know? One of mine has gone AWOL from my bits box between taking my glider apart after flying, and getting home. It could just be hidden in the car somewhere, but I canna see it!
Cheers
