We should be aiming at getting there about 1030, fete starts at 1100

Was thinking of Brekky at whistle stop for about 0930 subject to change.

Alright folks.

I'll be leaving abergele about 11am ish, so not getting there till 11.30 ish realistically. Is there somewhere set aside for us to park so we are not lugging kit miles? I presume it is just a case of telling people on the gate when we get there?

We Are in a separate field, drive over the bridge take the first right go past the park and were in the next field entrance on the right

1100 departure 1130 arrival you almost live on Llanfair TH Road you going to Chester on the way

I'm building in "leaving the house" time, something that is infinitely variable from 1 minute, to about 3 hours, especially when sorting the monsters out!

Just home from an awesome day at Llanfair TH.

First off massive thanks to the RDMFC members that came along, and to Rich for transporting the 78 so my kids could come along.

Sunburnt and knackared, the guys that flew did a great job and all gave up time to talk to the public answering all the how high and how fast questions. Rich cut us a fantastic strip and the field wasn't all that bad to fly in if you took care although quite how Andy managed to crash a quad that has GPS and auto land is beyond me

Had Ifor on the phone this evening, A Massive Thank You from the organisers of the fete to all those who attended on behalf of RDMFC.

They'll cut the trees down for next year so we can get the larger stuff there.

They were also well impressed by Marks flying, even more impressed by Andy's dumb thumbs

That's great to hear, always a worry what the organisers think.
