I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Sunday 7th August - Wembley Stadium
As some of you now know I will once again be flying the RDMFC flag at another huge event.
With former RDMFC Membership Treasurer Richard Thomas heading the organisation, he was tasked with finding a couple of pilots brave enough to fly at 1/2 time in front of 90000 people at the FA Community Sheild 7th August 2011 betwen Manchester United and Manchester City.
With that Myself, Nathan Farrel-Jones and Andy Rigby will be heading down to Wembly Saturday morning for a final demo before we are let into the big show.
We will be flying somthing very different and unusual and I will update you all soon. In the mean time look out for us in the background of the TV coverage.

It is interesting to note that the flying posture of these superheroes, is uncannily like the position I adopt when on holiday, and about to do a massive bellyflop into the hotel swimming pool, all in the name of impressing the local ladies.....

I watched the vids, what a hoot. You've got to fly one with lights on at the field (at dusk). Then sit back and wait for the reports of aliens

Re: Sunday 7th August - Wembley Stadium
Well day one almost over. Myself, NFJ and Wigby are sat in the hotel quite drunk.
The day started off really well with test flight one going awsome. Test flight 2 however we had problems. the blue "hero" blew a ESC in the hands of Rigby and really peed off the ground staff lol as it dead sticked into the hallowed turff of Wembly.
With a mad panic and lots of phone calls we got hold of Andy from Robot birds and unbilivably he lived only ten mins away and we got sorted. anfter as couple more flights at 7pm we flew for the event organisers and NFJ and Rigby nailed it. they were well pleased.
Were now having a few beers to celibrate a good day, final demo at 11am tomorrow then in the show.
We are now before the game at 14.30 so look out on sky sports 1.
Must say the FA and Wembly staff have been great and today even with the problems has been one of the best I have ever had. Loads of pics and vids to come but hotel WIFI is crap
