I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

7th May 2011

Our brothers up the road at Delyn MFC are once again opening there field to the www.3drc.info 3d fly-in

Wheels up at 10am for a cracking day of off the peg fun, some of the top display pilots in the UK will be there and its a great chance to have a good look around some cracking models,

Full catering on site for a donation and a good all round laff, several of our RDMFC clubmates have been over the years and really enjoyed there day. Aimed at 3d aerobatics. but the low key run what you brung ethos is in full effect so anyone wanting to fly is welcolme

Or just come and watch the show.

Not long back from a cracking day, flying started about 10am with some cracking syncro harrier rolls backwards from NFJ and Graham Roscoe, lots of flights untill rain stoped play just in time for lunch.

Weather re grouped about 2ish and all the planes came back out good afternoons flying with some top draw action.

Nice to see Andy up there too, wowing the crowed with his rocket

Glad it went well Mark, couldn't make it due to a tweaked muscle in my back, so spent the day swallowing Ibuprofen and spraying on Ralgex. Think I've got it sorted now.

The " New Heli" was a wind up for Zaidy and he rose up from the deep to take the bait Suspect however I wasn't joking about the retail therapy but that's another story Wink As for the hovering pad it's already on my "to do" list Cool

Spot on Mark, mind I have said a few times lately that I fancy getting back in the 50cc saddle so to speak, so after seeing Nath's 2 seater version fly the other night I've ordered this 300 single seat version from Peak Models
3DRC Aerobatic fly-in 300sba10
Got the model, engine, exhaust system and a carbon spinner for a smidge over £600.

I know they're the in thing & not want to be negative I'm sure they will grow on me just look a little odd, thew Yak's were the same though when they first appeared, now I'm sick of the b******s.

Nathan can make any model fly well he's a proper menace, it will be nice to see how they fly, I hope they are ok.

And they flick for fun

I do like the black white and red (pink?) colour scheme, I may have to nick that idea for Rocket Delta Mk4....

I know what you mean about the Yak's and this to a degree, maybe because ive seen and touched the full size single and 2 cab, the model looks very different, but they do fly well
