I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Sat 3rd July
Some of us were there most of the day Friday Brian
Been to a windy Wrexham fly-in today, but apart fom George Robson, no one else from RDMFC present.
If the rain doesnt appear, we plan on being up the big rock tomorrow from around midday for some Jarty action

Yep, I am passing on todays Orme session, having just spent an hour rescuing our garden gazebo which tried to escape violently in the VERY high winds up here

Re: Sat 3rd July
Went Down to the field on Saturday afternoon but no one else there. Waited till 14.00 and decided to take the fence down as the conditions were perfect. Slight breeze blowing straight down the strip. 15 perfect landings with the Edge, still no one else!! Decided to have another go. By now the wind had swung a little, corner to corner. Took off, then a hurricane came in. Decided to land - no chance. Carried on circling for about 20 minutes to give the wind a chance to drop. Getting low on fuel now. Thought I'd give it another go. Finally got it down in one piece. Taxied back to the pitts. No wind!!
Still no one there!! Time to go home and watch the football!!
