I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I am maidening your easy glider - after the chopper tour on our field - and then flying some of my warbird collection all afternoon.

Sounds good to me Tim, I'm not gonna bring the Xeno, not a lot of point really but I do need to sort out the controls but I was thinking that maybe we could do that at the "rock" (later in the week) if I throw myself upon your mercy again to maiden it?
Re: Saturday 10th
Bring the Xeno anyway if you can, easier to play around with setting it up at the field rather than at the orme.

I get your avatar now Brian
Have a good time today guys, I'm wondering if it is wrong to take my Chucky glider to this pesky wedding, to kill some time between the interesting bits!

Im going to warm up with my breeze for a bit
then pester mark to take me up with my tutor 40 on buddy lead so I can find my feet.

Re: Saturday 10th
Good day today - pity we didnt get to see the Heli itself at the police depot, but thanks anyway to Charlie for arranging the visit. Enjoyed some good weather and good company at the strip afterwards, and nice to see a big turnout.
Flew all 3 models that I took, and maidened Marty's Easy Glider pro, which flew fine straight off the launch..... he was deservedly well chuffed with it, and Sam did well on his IC tutor too under the watchful eye of Barnesyboy. Despite the slightly longer than ideal grass, my small E Scale P47 Jug even managed to ROG, and also came in for a perfect 3 pointer on landing on its retracts. Cracking day

Re: Saturday 10th
What a wonderful day!
Thanks for a really warm welcome and repartee, I enjoyed meeting a few more people and of course, the crack.
Thanks Tim for being patient and sorting out the mysteries of specy programing and having the nerve to chuck my new model into the air for the first time, (gutsy move man! lol).
All in all I think I will put today down as a success.
