a tale of two shops,

shop one;. not interested that I could get an item £20 cheaper down the road.Take it or leave it attitude I left it and went down the road.

shop two. sent back a 2.4 Rx that was not working, thought it may have been my fault and told them this.Sent a replacement back no questions asked only an apology for inconvenience.

actually three shops,

the third one Phoned them up on Sunday, not sure if item was in stock.Promised to phone back in 10 mins phoned back in 9 .Item in stock put to one side for one of my daughters to pick up Monday.Very customer orientated and jovial over the phone. This shop is in Frodsham.

The first shop is in Holywell. What a waste of space even with10% off dearer than the above shop.

The second is Phoenix Models ,in Devon

John
I have just bought a Philips CD player from Amazon, only £23 but it only took 3days to arrive and it has not yet shown on my visa account yet, it was also free postage.
Not bad service

My B&F (rtf) Vapor runs OK off either DX7 or the JR/Spectrum Tx module in my JR3810. I found the basic supplied 70mAH batteries quite adequate. Run for ages from a charge off the supplied charger.
