I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Two sharp eyed members namely Richie Badham and Roy Barnes have today reported to me that the joining form on page two of the club wesite was last years and consequently out of date price wise. I have now rectified this and the form is all up to date Wink

One point arising from the new membership charges, I notice that an Associate member has to pay £5 more than a full member just because they insure through another club, this seems a little punative and has it always been so Question One other point don't forget to renew by Dec 31st or it'll cost you another £25 affraid santa

Yep, been different for "associate members" for a number of years. Actually "associate members" aren't charged more, "full club members" get a discount.
All to do with the charges payable to the BMFA previously fixed for "full club membership" over the last 6 years, while "associate members" make their own arrangements with the BMFA.

No problem. I've had two associates raise the point recently. One of which does so every year and has been raised at committee each time Wink
