I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

LED strips.
Hi folks,
With the impending early darkness, and the fact my shed needs a lighting system, I'm looking at ordering some LED strips in a little larger quantities than normal. I've found some nice strip that is only 5mm wide, and comes in red, blue, green, cool white or warm white (almost yellow, but not quite). It is self adhesive, and doesn't have any heavy waterproof coating making it ideal for smaller airframes/quads etc. The fact it is only 5mm wide means it is much easier to install in tight places too!
The colours are approximately 360 lumen per metre brightness, and the whites will be slightly brighter. Pleeenty enough for flying in the dark!
It is looking like it will be around £2 per metre, depending on whether it gets hammered by customs on the way in from Hong Konk.
If anyone wants me to add some to my order, just shout how much, and what colours. I'll be placing the order mid next week so it has chance to arrive before Christmas!
Cheers
Andy

Because they only come in 1m strips, I want longer. They are also a lot wider, I want 5mm, HK strips are about 9mm or so. Much bigger....

Ah right so your saying you prefer a longer thinner length to a short stubby one
