O ring Wanted!

Evening all.

Does anyone have a couple of small O rings. I need to replace a couple on my tumble dryer as it is spewing water out all over the kitchen floor. They need to be 9mm ID, and 2mm cord dia if possible. A slightly smaller ID would work, but the cord dia needs to be that.

I've got an O ring kit, comes in strips and you cut it to length and glue with superglue. Not sure on the Dia though, I'll have a look in the shed in the morning, Any good?

The cord that you glue together wont really work, as the oring is used as both a seal and an anti pull through thing to stop a valve pulling through its housing. Bloody stupid design if you ask me, but it probably met the "thats nice and cheap and will last just enough to get the dryer through the two year warranty period, then break down the day after heh heh" requirement in the production approval meeting at Zanussi.....

I have both metric & imperial O ring kits and an O ring making kit at work.... Probably best to match it up if poss

All sorted now cheers, I found an O ring kit at work, and pilfered a few that looked about right. Of course, sods law says that the one I need is exactly in between the sizes I have though.....

Joking aside, someone else was after O rings a while back too,
If anyone is interested, they have box sets of them in the car shop in greenfield for about £2.50 - I saw them the other day on yet another wasted journey out to Greenfield model shop!
