I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Bank Holiday Monday 25.4.11
Not too many present considering it was BH Monday and the sun was shining, Bob Gadsby and I were both flying our sister Hangar 9 Sukhois, BB was busy getting to grips with his electric Edge which is remarkably stable in the harrier although Mark reckons it's a little odd in roll at the moment. We had a rare visit from or Chairman who was burning holes in the sky with his "hotliner" (and some rockets to boot) and repairing them with his sewing machine. Tim was busy with a squadron of EDF jets.
Now then the big question of the day! Has Danny given up on his chopper he was observed flying his electric Corsair, a charming little model actually and handled the breeze well

Re: Bank Holiday Monday 25.4.11
haha love that one of Andy. Great pics
Was a good day, flew the Edge 4 times (although I nearly decked it twice in the last flight as the wind had picked up alot) as you say Bri it harriers very well but the roll is strange, Im going to try some diff see if that helps.
Danny was doing really well after the longest prop change in history taking 5 men 3/4 of an hour. Take off's and landings. As you say to be fair its a cracking little model.
I also flew John's (biggles) little FMS Coursair today as well great little model that too, If alittle liverly on the ele.

Re: Bank Holiday Monday 25.4.11
They're some cracking pictures there Bri,and thanks again for the prop.
It's pretty good this plane thing.Very relaxing,which means new bit's to collect.woohoo.
The long prop change was all my fault, with the thread lock and some slight over tightening of the nut.
Cheers for the help Mark,I promise no more thread lock.
Danny.
See you all tomorrow.

Thanks to Tim for the long term loan of the buddy lead.
Thanks to Mr Moff for the loan of the pitch gauge.
And a VERY SPECIAL thanks to BarnseyBoy for the
invaluable lesson of Excessive V x I = Vapourised Silicon Chips.
Cheers Lads, see you at weekend.

Re: Bank Holiday Monday 25.4.11
Great photos Brian, Is there any chance I could get a high resolution copy of the Jibe photos (and the sewing one for the album )?
The weather forecast is looking good for the next couple of days, I'm wondering about a few hours off work, but shhhhhhh, don't tell SWMBO!
