I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Still not sure, I love my electric but as the FB chat, I really need the practice/stick time so petrol would be better.

The only extra time you will get it will be the time you spend cleaning it after flying

Re: My First of 2011
As much as I like electrickery, I think petrol makes sense for big models too. Charging the monster packs is such a ballache when you are away from mains power...
Do you want a place an order for a custom made 23.3x8 carbon prop?

Lookig good, crack on with the build then, the prop driver will suit you (GAY)
That engine has to be out of the same mould as the DL

Re: My First of 2011
At first look its got a DLE look to it yeah,
Build will begin soon hopfully, just wondering if I need to spend yet more money on fit out or keep it real simple. i.e 7ch RX 1 rx batt or full redundency and power safe rx or gemini, or regs everywere etc etc

Re: My First of 2011
You have to look at how much the model is worth to you before you decide to go with minimal/no redundancy system.
Just looked at my DL50 really nothing llike the DL, the Red Lion has a distinct rounded look to the cylinder when viewed from the front, the DL is quite square.
What's the weight of the engine.
