I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Should look a dream in the air, and with that engine the sound will be very scale like too. Woulden't like to pick up the tab for the fuel bill though.

That is a nice piece of kit Very Happy Any idea how Will is going to keep the rear cylinders cool Suspect I know a few scale guys who have in-line engines and they sound awsome but suffer from overheating, mainly the second from last cylinder. Baffling works but can effect airflow to the next cylinder. Looking forward to some more posts.

I would imagine a baffle plate to each cylinder would be the answer, therfore having it's own air supply, really depends on how the full size managed, if it had slats directing air to each cylinder dead easy laser cut plates

Sounds like a job for someone who can do a bit of CFD analysis too, might as well optimise the design of the laser cut bits properly Wink

Will was at the field today and I asked him about it.
He says he needs to purchase a couple of thing before finishing.

Can't wait to see it finished.

I would imagine when this was built the covering was stitched to hold it in place, like stitching you jeans at the bottom...!!?
