I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: cautionary tale
Just a thought, 'Electric Flight' may be non existant given the current economic climate.

Re: cautionary tale
I found e-flight.co.uk
when I dialed in "cherub" electric glider
they came up as 1st selection showed cherub £34
However, they do not show any address and the e-mail contact is within the page as a response form. So you don't get to find out who they are or where they are.
On the plus side, a lot of these "model shops" are part time traders and do appear to have a rather come day go day approach. The stuff does, surprisingly, arrive, eventually.
If you are not happy right now. don't mess about. ask/tell your card company to cancel it on the grounds of it being a suspect.
You are unable to get a satisfactory response.
Noting Roy's comment about the firm which popped up for me to view before posting
Today is Wenesday, the day they are not there. So maybe you could leave it till Thursday....?? before finally giving up on the order and getting it cancelled

Re: cautionary tale
John, how about this instead (comes with a brushless motor+esc+folding prop) for £72.99 from inwoods http://www.inwoodmodels.com/product_info.php?cPath=50_154&products_id=2201
Full detail on the JP site http://www.jperkinsdistribution.co.uk/detail.php?JPNO=5500266&activepage=2&Navmain=Aircraft - ARTF & Kits&subcatname=ARTF - JP
Or this from Thunder Tiger http://www.inwoodmodels.com/product_info.php?cPath=50_161&products_id=5064
Also available from inwoods for £84.99
There looks like there is a good selection of similar kits available from my quick search. Still, I doubt if you'll get to fly it as we seem to be having yet another [b]B-B-Q[b] summer

Re: cautionary tale
Sherlock Barnes is on the case!
I seem to remember that E-Flight.co.uk used to a big supplier of Ikarus Piccolo bits way back when I was assaulting my living room trying to leanr how to fly an indoor helicopter. For some reason they shut down for a while, but then re-opened. I'm not sure if it was a new owner or not (but I think it was, because the parcels came with a different postmark). The last stuff I bought from them was a Speed controller back in december 2003.....

Re: cautionary tale
everything else is, although it depends on whether you owe him or own him. That is the question
Re: cautionary tale
update...
had an e-mail from Sarah of e-flight.They have no knowledge of my order or debit card details. My e-mails to them went into junk box.Though sent via their dedicated e-mail line.Rather hesitant in placing an order with them.A Internet site that does not give a contact address or phone number is suspect. If it was not for Mark I doubt I would have been contacted.
