I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Hawker Hurricane
Not something stupid, but without the label, it would make a damn good scale model of a bouncing bomb....

Hurri looks great Leigh - my you are a busy boy arent you ? - I dont know how you manage it...I can barely do one model at time never mind several, and you seem to have 3 built before I even get the box open

Re: Hawker Hurricane
guide to getting planes built fairly quick.
1. dont get married
Its surprised me how quickly its all gone together, took a week of evenings to cut all the parts, then roughly 2 more to get to this stage. The stringers took a good while. Also tony n plans all seem to build quick, i know there not exactly scale but since im just building for fun thats fine by me. better to have a model you can finish and fly than one that takes so long you croak before its finished.
