I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Super plan Leigh, just one thing. How the hell do you print it out to scale Question

Tried all sorts of options including postewr print but it always comes out oversize.

A few basic dimensions would help then you do not really need a full size plan.

its 20" span should help you out. if your using acrobat reader set it to tile all pages.

OK guys, I have scaling turned off and cannot tile pages as there is only one page. Whenever I try to print, all I get is the top left hand quarter of the plan.

Help

It's times like these I miss being at my old work... I would have run off a good fistful of plans on the A0 printer there for everyone. Unfortunately the boss sits right next to the big printer in my new work, and he doesn't like outsiders Sad

I need some wood....

just been out having a buzz arround the local playing field and disaster struck. my engine ate its reed valve and stuffed the glow head. Sad on the up side overlander electric props work a treat with the cox. i tried a 4.5x4.5 very nice. no signs of stress and a good 20 mins running roughly 8 tanks.

I've got some spare heads and reeds if you need any. If you've got any old floppy discs I gather that the disc is mylar and can be used to make new reeds if you've got a good reed to use as a pattern. I've also got a commercial head that takes a standard plug you can try if you like and make a comparison with the cox head.

Took delivery of four Cox .049 engines today, they all look ok but the proof of the pudding will be when I come to run them. Smile

Looks realy great Mel. Very Happy You should be able to see it in a crowd Smile

I have one one the bench at present just awaiting the engines from Canada. The first one I built used a DC quickstart 049 and went well if a little over proped on the std Cox 6X3.

Look forward to the test flight and I hope there is no wind as I have yet to see one go in still conditions.
