#Great Orme 21.12.17

Thu Dec 21, 2017 9:26 pm by Gary M Jones

Good flying this afternoon at the #Orme on this the shortest day of 2017. Wind was bang on the fav. slope probably about 25mph. Must put a ballast bolt in the model. Flight curtailed by the short day length !

SE wont work on the orme - best bet is to travel around an hour to the Lleyn Peninsula. Check out my google maps "slope soaring sites on the Lleyn".
easterly will prob workbest on Cim Farm top road, looking left towards st tudwals islands

The little Orme works in an easterly, but it's not the best, as there isn't a massive amount of actual slope.
