I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Just a heads up, the next round of the Inter Club fun fly competition is going to be held at the Newport and District MFC, on the 18th September.

I understand the rounds flown will be Climb and Glide, Deadstick Aeros, and Blackjack.

It should be a laugh, who is up for a day trip?

I believe it is something to do with 21, and landings and stuff....

Reminder guys next weekend. A big turnout from RDMFC would be great to support this round.

Unfortunatly it looks like i will be in bethesda insted of here which im not happy about but hey ho im sure you will all do RDMFC proud.

Message from Stuart the event CD

Here is a map of the site for the next comp. It is accessible from the road that joins Childs Ercall to Eaton upon Tern down a dusty potholed track. Please observe the sign that askes you to stop until waved on unless there is no flying taking place. Once on the runway take the FIRST left turn up to the parking area where a warm welcome will await you. The comps are listed in another post and the CD's for the day will be Stu Mc Farlane and Andy Ellison. There will be a free BBQ of basic burgers and bangers. IMPORTANT Our club exists under a strict planning permission and any IC powered models MUST pass the BMFA noise test before being allowed to fly. We look forward to meeting you all at out site. If you have any questions then ask away.
