Thursday 9th Club night

Afternoon folks,

Apologies I wasn't around to sort out the club-night competition last Thursday, I was on holiday. The next installment of the club competition will therefore take place this Thursday, 9th June. It will be a touch and go competition.

The rules are simple:

• Take off. A 1 minute timer starts.
  
• Pilot your plane in a circuit (or a loop) and perform a touch and go on the runway.
  
• Repeat until 1 minute is up.
  
• All touch and goes shall be in the same direction, and shall not be counted if a circuit or loop has not been made between touch and go attempts.
  
• bonus points available for "style"
  
• Official Official's decision will be final.
  

Any type of plane/model can take part, helicopters, fixed wing, multirotor, gliders, the lot. So long as it can do a touch and go, you can enter.

All points awarded will count towards the RDMFC Club Comp. series 2016.

Fantastic night once again, great comp and general fly, awsome BBQ just a shame I seem to have forgotten how to fly fixed wing.....

Andy R`s dino bird stole the night though what a fantastic little thing that turned out to be.

Cracking night indeed! Andy's bird (the green one that flies) was a right laugh...

The official scores from the club comp, June round, are being passed through the review committee as I type, and will be posted soon.

1. Jem - Electric funfly.  22 touch and goes. Twitchy leg bonus. Cocky post flight "beat that" comment deduction.  total awarded - 21 points.
   
2. Tim - Electric Funfly.  13 touch and goes.  Ropey technique bonus.  total awarded 14 points
   
3. Andy S - Electric funfly.  13 touch and goes.  Avoiding runway traffic bonus.  total awarded 14 points.
   
4. Rich B.  Electric funfly.  11 touch and goes.  Loan of model to almost every other competitor bonus.  total awarded, 13 points.
   
5. Mark B.  electric funfly.  11 touch and goes.  Busy landing strip after crashing bonus.  total awarded 13 points.
   
6. Andy K.  electric funfly.  9 touch and goes.  Funny run after a crash bonus.  total awarded 10 points.
   
7. Allan p.  Vintage electric.  8 touch and goes.  Extreme stick movements bonus.  total awarded, 9 points.
   
8. Everyone else who turned up to watch. Spectator bonus. 1 point.
