Drones, ban the lot of them or should we?

Post by Mark Barnes on Wed Mar 09, 2016 9:05 am

Dispite all the negativity on drones, 14 year old Luke Banister from Taunton Sommerset has just qulified 1st for the biggest prize money comp in RC flying history.

The World drone racing championship, being held in Dubai this week, has a total prize fund of 1 million USD, and the UK`s Banni is currently lighting up the qualifying timing sheets being ranked Number 1 in the World. good on him.

In other news the BMFA news has a picture of a rubber powered duration model on the cover. Rolling Eyes

Speeded is a word in my head....

And I like spank along. I might do that on friday to get home from work quickly, I shall put the car in "Spank along" mode...

Wish I could make it out tomorrow. Got a day with the kids though, whilst SWMBO has a spa day. Short term pain, for long term gain and all that. And we are going out for lunch and tea, so no pain at all really. Just don't tell SWMBO.

And did anyone actually have a clue what the rules were for the final race? It seemed to all go on the fastest lap. Not who finished first....
