Sunday Fun Day

Had a great day down the field, dispite the weather trying its best to spoil it. Thanks to Alan for organising and Rich for the BBQ

Massive thanks To John and Andy Jonhstone with Tom Owen for coming down to put on some awesome heli demos, great lads, Andy has always supported RDMFC events and I thank him for that.

Only a couple of vids first up Tom Owen who went from being a top level fixed wing freestyle flier to this with a heli in just 2 years



and part of a stunning flight from AJ who never fails to impress (camera went flat sorry)

For those that were there, this is what happened to AJ's 78" extra, never seen this happen before, for those not there that was a right noise in flight so aj powered of and landed. Good save in my book

Bear in mind that motor is the size of a coke can

Weather was crap for the biggest part of the day as we were all piled like sardines with planes under a gazebo dodging long heavy showers. had a few flights, Chris didn't manage to maiden his extra due to a teething problem "DONT PUT IT AWAY COLLECTING DUST PAL"
other than that it was an ok day.

Really enjoyed it and managed a few flights dispite the weather.
The heli demo was very impressive!

Heli demo was awesome unfortunately had other commitments today so couldn't get to the field  

Heli Boyz were excellent... great show

Well done to those who did turn up! The rain was pretty awful at times but did improve later
