I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Had a great multirotor Monday with Andy S tonight, lots of good FPV flying and the first RDMFC FPV Grand Prix.

However one of my flights didn't go to well, flying FPV I had what appears to be 4 total power fails on the little 330LF but saved them all

Investigation continues

Power remained on camera feed and radio - so would seem to be more a case of power loss to motor/s - perhaps on the main chassis wiring /connection?
Hope ya find it, looks nasty  Sad
If one motor died, would it result in that sort of behaviour? If so, maybe a duff ESC or motor /wire ?

Had a full 10 mins flight afterwards so not sure the issue is on the quad, possible favourt at the mo is dodgy lipo connector, camera feed is via the balance plug and remaind active

Does your RC support telemetry? Try putting a sensor at the ESC input(s). If all ok try the outputs etc

If your RC doesn't support telemetry maybe borrow one that does but don't put the Rx in as a controller, just have it as a payload for telemetry only, just in case it turns out the fault is related to the Rx in use

My theory is a loss of signal. All 4 motors were cutting out in flight, in roughly the same area of sky every time. The failsafe will have been set to shut the throttle, and that is exactly what the video shows happening.

One motor shutting down in flight would be shown by an incredibly violent flip/roll/somersault. The video shows that the violent manoeuvrings only start when Barnes tries to gain control again. When the motors cut out, the fall is not quite flat, but relatively calm and straight down.

Dodgy Spektrum IMHO....

got away with it 4 times! G0013010

The tree was a bit on the close side, and I was traveling quite quickly. Truth be told, there may have been some clippage....

no telem on the current set up but do have it on my Graupner set Alan that I use on the bigger multi`

Ive had 2 or 3 seperate failiers on this little quad now, each time the KK flight controler shows "no yaw input" on the display so Im pretty sure its radio related. As Andy says it seems that all 4 motors shut off then refire as I wrestle for control.

Throtle stick is quite high as im flying out so im NOT shutting them down on the tx.

Great saves if you ask me especialy flying through the gogs
