Make one from MDF board? Stermat sell the stuff in a range of precut sizes 2 x 4, 3 x 4 4 x 6 ish and, I think, 6 mm. Its surprisingly cheap. Maybe Jeremy sells it?

Try phoning round the signwriters in the area, one of them is bound to print it for signs and stuff, and have some spare sheets!

Thought about that but think it will be to heavy, it's gonna be a big box as it's a big plane.

Another material, light, cheap and easily available, is 4mm marine ply. This comes as 8 x 4 sheets and is available from the builders merchants round the corner from you. They would probably drop a sheet off for free at HH if you asked nicely

There were several 40 i/c designs published using Correx board.
I have a sheet of white and red, lightweight, you can have.
Or/and I will LEND YOU A Lightweight digital keyboard case which will easily carry a 40 size dismantled fun fly model. I.e. Wing, Tailplane and Fus.
But I want it back after you've come back from the competition

Thanks Paul but I would want a box made specifically for the F3P model to live in 24/7 so the kind offer of the loan is great fully refused.
