I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Binding...
How do you know it's not binding? All you would be getting before the quad was set up will be solid lights on the Rx,
Don't know how your doing it but try just a TX rx and a battery to start with,
Bind plug in the right slot of rx
Power on rx lights should flash
Power on TX holding the bind button or switch
Rx lights should go solid the release TX bind button or switch
It may take a while 30 secs or so
Power down all and remove bind plug
That's it done, use a spare servo to test all rx channels
Of course you may have done all that,
O and turn your bloody caps lock off on your keyboard lol

Re: Binding...
You got a spare flight battery pack?
I would try binding your rx out of the model with all leads taken out bar the battery pack and bind plug.
Also dont forget to make sure all sticks are centred and your throttle stick is at zero.
I had an issue once with an orange rx, which wouldn't bind cos my throttle stick was quarter the way up - dropped the stick and bingo! - was really wierd!
Oh - and try a different bind plug if you have one, the connector between the two pins could be cracked!

Doh! - Just seen Barnsey suggested only battery and rx before me!
Bind plug advice still stands though!

Re: Binding...
Am I right ???
The DX6i Tx should work with either a DSM2 or DSMX mode receiver, automatically detecting the mode of the receiver during the binding process.
and .........
DSMX system is quite different from the old DSM2 sytem.
DSMX uses continuous frequency hopping of all 80 channels rather than locking on to the first vacant pair it finds for one single connection/flight.
It occurs to me that your receiver just may well be already duff.
Of 2 I bought (for indoor) one just gave up working after my big Chinook (model) helicopter crashed with someone elses model at Llysfaen.
Have you actually tested the R615 receiver will bind to a transmitter that simply works on DSM2 mode ???
