Should be fine, you only need 5 channels for most controllers, although I'm not 100% sure on the one you have!

You might have problems setting up your failsafe with that tx and a 617 receiver Andy

I didn't go for it in the end mate, I just boughta spek dx6i, just gotta find a receiver now pal.... thanks for the info though bud.
