I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

At this point in time, I probably won't be there. If new little one is hatched before though, I'm coming for an afternoon!

And, I quite like the stately home, it's not just for women...

Re: Weston Park 2013
Well I'm finally back with it after an awesome 3 days at this years Weston Park Model show and for me this year was one of the best.
Highlights for me included
The German J10 Jet duo there displays were top draw best jet flying Ive seen just a shame they had a little moment in the final flight of the weekend but no harm no foul.
The Hanger 9 100cc Decathlons flown by my good friends Ali and Azza, made all the better for towing up the new Eflight Balink which looked a great model.
The night time flying was something else this year, on the main line we had a full size aero tow and aero display from a Fox with lights and pyros, 11 Year Old Harry Heli with a fantastic helicopter display and Sasha from Germany with his Comp ARF with lights fireworks pyros and music all of which were brilliant.
Then we headed over to the heli line to enjoy the last few flights of the Air Helifest after dark shoot out. As we all know helis are gay but what a show they put on, music, lights, pyros, they had everything even a duo flight with a game of guess who all flown to music with the blades asking the questions. Flight of the night apart from friend of the club Andrew Johnsone was Peter Ariyss flying his 700E with no lights in the pouring down rain with only a shoulder hight spot lamp!
I managed 8 flights with the funfighters over the weekend including the 2 pyro slots, which this year were the biggest yet,and some late night foamy flying outside the beer tent at about 2 in the morning when a impromptu game of can we fly in and out of the beer tent brought much merriment.
Crash of the weekend was the Turbine Komet going in full chat about 1/4 of a mile away, which a complete loss of radio absolutly nothing left of it.
Save of the weekend had to be the 2 100cc Piper Pawne`s that has a mid air on Sunday with both planes saved from the stall and landed safely.
Spotted club members Jem, Bob G, Dave, Peter but Tim seemed to be avoiding me.
I could be here all week telling you all the stories and events but frankly you should have been there.
