I think this may be the end of the Reno air races, the powers that be have been looking for reasons to stop it for years. Not 100% sure but believe it was the last place available to fly open class balls out pylon Suspect

Not knocking the elderly - but was anyone else a bit disturbed that the race pilot involved in this serious accident was a 74 year old? Suspect

- I guess you are as young as you feel, but surely the mental and physical strains on this type of race event would mean he probably wasnt fit enough to take part!

Intresting vid, About 7mins in you see the moment it all went pear shaped. Dosnt show the impact but shows the trim tab breaking off just after the plane nearly rolls onto its back.
