I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Micro Stryker pylon racing! Empty Micro Stryker pylon racing!

Evening all.

I've just been having a mooch online at the Horizon Hobby website, and I've found the Micro Stryker. A little wing type thing, with twin fins (and rudders!) and a dinky brushless motor on the back end. It is only 16" wingspan, and perfect for flying in tight places. Anyway, after seeing a few videos, I've decided that I quite fancy one. I suspect they may be flyable in the sports hall in the winter, but I'm not sure, I think quick reactions will be needed! The link to them is here: http://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/aeroonline/e3parkzone/e3_pkzu2280_um_stryker/e3_um_stryker.html#info

It would be quite funny to get a flock of them going, and some pylon races perhaps, so does anyone fancy one? If I can get an order for a a few of them together, I can get a bit of a discount on the normal price (I reckon down to about £85 each if I can get 4 or 5 on order).

Oh, you'll need a spektrum Tx or module to fly them, but other than that, they are ready to fly. Not bad considering you get a spektrum micro rx, Brushless motor/ESC andtiny little servos, so when the airframe is worn out, you can transfer the gear to another wierd and wonderful creation!
