I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

vapor lipo charge leads
Someone at llysfaen last week had a multiple charge lead for their vapor lipos - letting them charge up about 6 vapor batteries from a standard lipo charger. Anyone know where you can get them from and what settings (cell count + ampage) would you charge them on. (I know it depends on lipo sizes and numbers but a rule of thumb would help me out please!)
With all the leccy charging questions- anyone guess im getting ready for the winter season big styleeeeee!

Re: vapor lipo charge leads
Here you go mate,I knew I'd recently seen these somewhere.

It's worth giving them a call just to double check they're exactly what you want.

Re: vapor lipo charge leads
It was the Boy Barnes who had that clusterwhip, no idea where it came from though....
As a rule of thumb, the little cells are usually single cells (1s, so 3.7v nominal, 4.2v max) and the capacity is usually around the 100mAh or so. They will take a higher charge rate than the bigger cells, so up to about 0.3A should be doable.
EDIT: that looks nice and neat though Danny...

Re: vapor lipo charge leads
I got the info from Tim at Llysfaen previously
http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/micro_conn.html
Comes conected to balancing plug 2 or 3 cell
also available as single lead for 1 vapor lipo
About 3pound 50 for 3 way
Nice thing about this balance connector is they are charged in series, cooking cells in parallel is avoided and the balancer lets all cells come up to full charge safely.

Re: vapor lipo charge leads
There is nowt wrong with charging lipo cells/packs in parallel, so long as you ensure they are in a similar state of charge before connecting them together....

Re: vapor lipo charge leads
I much prefer to charge single cells in parallel - as Andy says, if all are in similar state of charge (SOC) then its fine, PLUS they all balance each other out almost immediately, and maintain this throughout the charge.
Stubbsy, I can soon knock you up a multiple charge harness for your cells - just let me know.
