I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Things for retired Chairmen to do???
Just had a couple of photos sent to me by our previous Chairman John Bowman and had to share them with you. It seems that J.B with time on his hands has been helping out the Reds, purely in an advisory capacity you understand Seriously though John and Jill had a day down at RAF Scampton with the Red Arrows watching a practice flight and sitting in on preflight and post flight briefings, morning coffee and lunch in the officers mess then a tour of the workshops. They went as guests of the Davies family Flight lieutenant David and proud parents Wyn and Angela, David having just started a three year tour with the Reds. John Wyn and myself all used to work together at the AA, anyway here's a couple of the photos just to turn you all like myself green with envy
Bet the camera man did'nt have to ask John to smile for this one
Dave with a very proud Mum and Dad

Yeh some guys have all the luck, I know Dave sent John and Jill a Red Arrow's calendar signed by the whole squad (green envy) would make a great raffle prize but I know they won't part with it.

Can you fly one of them on a B Cert' do you think?
I'm very jealous too. I always wanted to join the RAF as a pilot when I was younger. Pesky entry requirements, and health checks got in the way though
Cheers
Andy
