I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Post by Brian Colclough 2009-01-22, 15:45

My Wasabi arrived from Belgium today, no damage in transit or was it a sprinter, anyway here's a piccy of the kit contents. I'm not planning on doing a build thread as with all things modern it's more an assembly than a build.

Looks a pretty little machine, should go well. Not much assembly to do by the looks of things so should be in the air quickly. Smile

The last time I had some Wasabi (at a Japanese restaurant in London), I accidentally got some up my nose, that made me see circles for a while! Smile Looks veeeerrry nice. Did you order it from the Flybiwo website?

Brian, Can you do me a favour?

Can you tell me how wide the fuselage is, especailly towards the nose/canopy area?, or Even better, can I sneak a look at it sometime? Perhaps you could have a Wasabi party, with Sushi and Saki? Heh heh!

Cheers

No I don't! Why on earth would I want to put a motor in a Glider?! Smile

Seriously though, I was actually wondering if my video camera would fit in the nose, using a modified canopy to allow the lens to poke out. The deep fuse at the front there provides a nice little housing if it does!

The nose at the front of the canopy is 1" wide at most at it's widest around the wingtube area it's a tad under 1 3/4" Wink It's about this wide cheers
