I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

What's new in your hanger - Page 2 Empty Re: What's new in your hanger

Post by Guest 2010-01-10, 13:52

Here's my new project just finished.
What's new in your hanger - Page 2 Trex600106
What's new in your hanger - Page 2 Trex600112
The new Trex 600 LE.
Electrics include DS610's on cyclic,DS620 on throttle and the new DS650 with GP750 on tail.
OS 55HZ engine with OS power boost pipe.
For RX battery I broke my flightpower tradition for the new Outrage NRG 5000mah and it comes with 4 leads coming from it which is handy as it will plug into almost anything and it uses the flightpower balance connector.A bargain at £35.99.
Upgrades added during the build were the Align metal fan,an OS bubbleless clunk and a Quick uk header tank with some descent fuel pipe.
Started it up for the first time today and it fired right up Very Happy
Hopefully I'll start running it in tomorrow.
The engine and exhaust combo sounds very nice, pretty quiet but nice.

I sure hope so Dave,I'll have to pass you the sticks to find that out.
I did what you said with the throttle travel adjust and managed to get it at +/- 100%.
It took a while to get that but after trying loads of servo horns it turned out the Align round one is the perfect size.
Sam you Avatar is well funny,I look like that when I'm on the throne. Very Happy

Only upgrades are a set of Quick UK ball links, metal servo disks a header tank a set of Quick UK canopy screws and a boom support brace. Oh and I sprayed the tail feathers to match the canopy.

Next up is a large autogyro called the DAG which I have plans for. Anyone got an OS 52 4 stroke spare Question
